At PetWellClinic®, we recommend certain vaccinations to protect your dog from serious and contagious diseases. The vaccines your dog needs include:
- Rabies Vaccine: Required by law in most states, this vaccine protects your dog from the fatal rabies virus, which can also spread to humans.
- 5-in-1 Vaccine (DAPP): This combination vaccine protects against several highly contagious and potentially deadly diseases, including:
- Canine distemper virus
- Canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV-1)
- Canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2)
- Canine parainfluenza
- Canine parvovirus
- Lepto 4-Way Vaccine: Protects against leptospirosis, a bacterial infection that can lead to kidney and liver failure, and is especially important for dogs that spend time outdoors.
- Bordetella Vaccine (Kennel Cough): Essential for dogs that interact with other dogs in kennels, dog parks, or grooming facilities, this vaccine helps prevent respiratory infections.
Keeping your dog up-to-date on vaccinations is crucial for their health and helps prevent the spread of contagious diseases to other pets.
PetWellClinic® treats a wide range of common dog illnesses, helping your pet recover from everyday health issues and chronic conditions. These include:
- Ear Infections: Often caused by bacteria, yeast, or ear mites, symptoms include scratching, head shaking, and foul odors. We offer ear cleanings and targeted treatments.
- Skin Allergies and Irritations: Flea allergies, food sensitivities, and environmental allergens can cause itching, redness, and hair loss. We provide allergy relief and skin treatments for your pup.
- Gastrointestinal Issues: Vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite can result from infections, parasites, or dietary problems. We perform diagnostics and offer treatments to relieve GI upset.
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Signs include frequent urination, straining, and blood in the urine. Prompt treatment can prevent more serious complications.

Walk-in vet care, like what we offer at PetWellClinic®, is designed for non-emergency needs, such as preventive care, vaccinations, minor illnesses, or routine exams. With no appointments necessary, our extended hours make it easy to visit us when your dog needs care.
Emergency vet care is for life-threatening situations or severe illnesses and injuries that need immediate attention. Emergency clinics are equipped to handle urgent dog health issues 24/7, offering intensive diagnostics and treatments when your dog’s condition is critical.
While PetWellClinic® offers accessible walk-in services for your dog’s routine health needs, we always emphasize the importance of knowing when a situation requires emergency care. If your dog is experiencing a medical emergency, it’s crucial to seek help from a specialized emergency veterinarian without delay.
At PetWellClinic®, we focus on preventive care, diagnostics, and the treatment of minor illnesses for dogs and cats. To keep your costs low, we do not provide certain services, including:
- Surgical Procedures: We do not perform surgeries, including spay and neuter operations or more complex surgeries.
- Dental Care: We do not provide comprehensive dental services, such as cleanings or extractions.
- Emergency Care: We do not handle emergency situations that require immediate, intensive care, such as severe injuries or life-threatening conditions.
For these services, we recommend consulting a full-service or emergency veterinary clinic that can address your pet’s specific needs. You can ask your local PetWellClinic® team for recommendations if you aren’t familiar with options in the area.
