Who Uses PetWellClinic? This Professional in Pet Services Does!

hand-166442__340East Tennesseans take their pets to PetWellClinic® for a variety of reasons — affordable prices, convenient evening or weekend hours, and top-notch vet care. Many of them say they wish they’d known about PetWellClinic® sooner, and they are happy to tell friends and neighbors about the services.

Susan H. is one of those happy PetWellClinic® customers. She has worked at the Humane Society of the TN Valley and with private rescue groups, and has been a dog groomer for 8 years. She first heard of PetWellClinic® several years ago from some of her clients and thought it sounded like a great concept. Since she has 9 dogs, 3 cats, and is continually fostering animals, she decided to see for herself what PetWellClinic® had to offer.

Susan says, “I have used PetWellClinic® to treat ear infections, skin issues, do routine check ups on new pets, for health certificates on foster dogs going out of state, and for vaccines and heartworm tests. I have easily taken 15 to 20 dogs and 3 or 4 cats to the PetWellClinic® near Bearden/West Hills (formerly called EasyVet).

“I love the prices, the ability to walk in, and the staff,” she says, adding, “I like to go when I know Dr. Ellen will be there, but I have loved every vet I have seen. I have also always enjoyed my interactions with the support staff.

“Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and the vets have always been willing to reach out to a specialist to see if I need a second opinion. I have a dog with chronic ear infections and Dr. Ellen really helped me out a lot with him! Oh, and I LOVE that the Bearden location is open Sundays.

“It’s nice to be able to have routine things like shots done after work or on weekends. It is also wonderful to know there is an option other than the emergency vet clinics during the day on weekends for those times you need an opinion from a vet.”

Susan considers PetWellClinic® as part of her pet care team, in conjunction with two full-service veterinarians she takes her pets to for teeth cleanings and any in-depth issues. She says both vets have been great about accepting records from PetWellClinic®, and that the team approach works well for them all.

“My work schedule usually means I can only do “drop off” appointments for my dogs at a regular vet hospital. I have a couple dogs who don’t kennel well due to anxiety, so my regular vet’s staff probably appreciate it when I don’t have to leave them there all day!”

As a professional in animal rescue and pet services, Susan says, “I think it is very important for pet owners to have a good relationship with a full service vet for the times when their dog or cat needs x-rays, dental work, surgery, etc. But I can’t say enough good things about using PetWellClinic® as a part of your animal care team! I have used several vets in my life, and PetWellClinic is honestly one of my favorite.”
