DR. Christine F. Walters

Veterinarian

Dr. Christine F. Walters is a proud native of lovely Pembroke Pines, Florida. Prior to working at PetWellClinic, Dr. Christine worked as an emergency and critical care veterinarian in Ft. Pierce, FL. She earned her veterinary medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. In addition to completing the standard veterinary coursework, Dr. Christine pursued a concentration in exotic and aquatic animal medicine. She is also an undergraduate alumna of the University of Florida from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a minor degree in Spanish Language and Composition.

PetWellClinic’s niche as a provider of convenient, efficient, and affordable care for wellness, prevention, minor illnesses, and chronic conditions attracted Dr. Christine to the practice. She is also proud of PWC’s genuine commitment to community outreach and service.

Like many veterinarians, Dr. Christine shares her home with a pet pack. Her pack currently includes her senior soul-dog (a Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix) and four lively, juvenile budgerigars. She hopes to add an Australian water dragon, a mammoth donkey, an iguana, a pigeon, a turkey, and a skunk to the mix in the future. In her spare time, Dr. Christine relaxes by listening to music, playing her tambourine, longboarding, and munching at the tastiest restaurants in town. She expresses herself creatively by singing, dancing, writing, and practicing makeup artistry. The beach is a second home for Dr. Christine as she loves watersports like kayaking, paddle-boarding, and snorkeling!
