Costume common sense caution:
—Watch for signs that your pet might be uncomfortable in a costume—growling or meowing, running, hiding.
—Apply the same rules as for kids—make sure your pet can be easily seen outside by using things like reflective strips on a costume.
—Don’t leave pets alone in a costume in case they decide to take it off themselves and become entangled.
